Brahmasri Manikandan Sastrigal
Br. Manikandan Sastrigal hails from Thippirajapuram, Kumbakonam.
He is an accomplished Vedic scholar with high academic credentials from Sanskrit College, Madras before moving to Mumbai in 1993–94.
Since 2000 he has been under the tutelage of Late Br. Sri. Ganesha Sastrigal and has become very proficient in running and directing the temple's religious activities.
Devotees are well aware of his meticulous attention to detail in every puja, abhishekam, and homam conducted.
Br. Manikandan Sastrigal plays a central role in all major temple festivals and special ceremonies (Navavarna Pooja), including the grand Rama Navami and Navaratri celebrations. His presence infuses every sacred occasion with an atmosphere of deep reverence and divine connection.
